Hal Lyman/Full View Photography

Have any of you used Hal Lyman Photography? The price is right, and his pics look pretty good, but it bothered me that he kept showing me pics from the same wedding...like that's the only wedding he's done. Any experiences?

We met with him and also liked the pics. We saw a few different albums and I liked what I saw but the deciding factor came down to the fact that what we really liked about the pics were the settings and backgrounds, which were nothing like what we would have - gardens, farms, pumpkins, etc. We opted for a photographer that focused on the people more than the settings. The other thing we didn't like was that it was a sweltering 90 degree day and there was no air conditioning, just a pedestal fan, which he moved into the room and aimed at himself, while we sat wilting. We wanted a photographer concerned with us, not himeself. The work was nice - try pushing to see a full set of proofs that's waiting to be picked up, and additional work too, if you really like him.
