Ok so FH and I went around today and saw a few places. We saw Lombardis on the Sound, The Vineyard, and Hamlet Willow Creek. FH was not really that impressed with the first two but he LOVED The Hamlet Willow Creek. We want to have the ceremony there and they are actually making an outdoor ceremony spot this April which is great! Has anyone ever been there for a wedding before? Any thoughts about food, service, views, etc??
I'm booked at the hamlet cc which has a similar feel. I know that hamlet wc has a beautiful outdoor area with a large lake.... We fell in love with it the second we walked in :) our hamlets food is out of this world!!! the hamlets are known for their Impeccable service and staff

I went to a wedding there...everything was excellent!
I think I had a different experience at WC than most. We were there for a wedding this past August and it was way too hot. We were all literally dripping in sweat before we even began to dance. The CH was in the front lobby area and there were too many people for the size of the room. Some CH food was outside in the back, but the logistics of walking from front to back seemed silly. I will say the grounds are gorgeous, so if you do book there, your pics will be fab.
We went there to look at it and I LOVED it but it was a little out of our price range since at the time we were looking into an October wedding. It was beautiful and I've heard nothing but great things, best of luck!
We're having our reception there but not ceremony so I can't help you out much with that. We are expecting 150-160 and are a little bit worried about cocktail hour if it has to be in the lobby but it's only an hour. I worked with someone who worked at WC for 4 summers while in college, up untill August 2011 and he said the food is to die for and that they really pride themselves on how well they run everything. It was the only venue we foudn that really fit what we wanted at a very affordable price.

the hors de ouvres were amazing there, tho. and kim was great (she i guess does both places?)
also there's a bride on here that had issues during the hurricane and they apparently worked wonders for her (i'm kinda jealous not to have a place with multiple facilities now!)

Different Kims lol we looked at both and really liked both Kims, it must work in their favor haha
