Hamptons - finding a beach house for your wedding?!?!

I am thinking of renting out a house in the hamptons to have my wedding. Any advice? Has anyone worked with Nancy from Hamptons Location? Has anyone had a wedding at the Baker's Estate at Hampton Bays?

Thank you!

Did you find out any more information about this? I am in a similar position now as you and am wondering what you ended up doing.

Re: Hamptons - finding a beach house for your wedding?!?!

Hey guys! I really wanted to do this for my wedding, but I was really set on having a summer wedding so the fact that none of the people I contacted would do it unless it was after labor day was a huge deterrent for me.

I was quoted a $15,000 rental fee for the wedding, and they said they would probably comp the day before and the day after for the bridal party to stay in the home, and that was for the waterfront property in Westhampton:

I looked a lot on HomeAway vacation rentals on both long island and upstate, but most of the people I spoke to were not willing to let me host even a small party of 50-75 in the home without paying them a per person fee for everyone over the amount of beds, and most of them wanted a full month in the summer.

If you are willing to do your wedding off-season, or if you are willing to rent the house for an entire week/month (you could stay there for your honeymoon), I say go for it. But I had a lot of trouble finding a place that would rent me for the weekend during peak season.

Thank you for the information! The Baker Estate seems like a good option (expensive, though). But someone had posted a negative comment about them, so I was just wondering if you had any experience with that site.
