HAPPINESS--How do you define it?

HAPPINESS--How do you define it?

Hi Ladies,

Just some stuff to get our minds going...

What do you consider happiness?

Is it that excited, high feeling, like the way you felt when you got engaged, or when you hear great news?

Is it more of a contented, even, laid-back feeling?

Would you say you are happy most of the time?

What would you say is your usual, daily mood?

Has being married(or engaged) made you as happy as you expected it would? Do you find you feel pretty much the same as you did before you were married (engaged)?

I think happiness is that laid back, contented feeling you described. When you're sitting somewhere... could be at a family BBQ, a big event, or even just by yourself on the car ride to work, and you look around you and are thankful to be blessed with the gift of life... that, to me, is the definition of true happiness.

I think TRUE happiness comes when you make peace with whatever demons you have in your past and are able to focus on what really matters in life...family, health, etc. But not just focus on those things, but enjoy them as well.

Ok this may sound a little weird but happiness to me is laying on a beach with the sun beating down on me, perfectly calm and relaxed just listening to the waves crash on the shore with not a care in the world. Looking around and thinking how lucky I am to live the life I live and have the people around me I have and being lucky enough to spend a day that way.....

For me happiness is when my dreams come true
