Thank you very much! As I sit here typing with tears running down my face. I was up all night because Gianna woke up screaming and had a fever and wouldn't let mommy put her down, or for that matter, let mommy sit down.
Very hard day for me today -- I got a b'day card from my mother in the mail (why she mailed it, I don't know, when she's going to see me ) and it was just signed 'Love Mom' and that killed me.
When I finally did fall asleep, since I was so sleep deprived at this point, when I looked over at Gianna, I thought it was my father!
I'm sorry to turn this happy thread into something depressing. I'm trying, I really am. So far my friends here at work have decorated my bay and brought me beautiful flowers to help cheer me up.
And then I come on here and my other friends are sending me beautiful wishes!!! I'm very blessed to have such great friends in my life.
Anna, mi amica, are you having your precious bambino today???? (My friend went before you, she had her boy yesterday.) And thank you so much for that wonderful tribute to my aunt and father. This is the hardest b'day for me -- my first one w/o my papa and aunt, and the first one as a mommy. How bittersweet is that?
Nancy, you too? Are you ready? I'd be honored to have 2 babies sharing my day.

The first year of Holidays/celebrations are always the hardest and I forgot the whole Signed Mom thing! I tucked away the last card I got from both of my parents and I don't think that I will ever be able to throw it away!
