This was our first Chaunkah Menorah lighting in our own home together! May all of your lives be filled with miracles and light as they are on Chanukah!
ATTENTION ALL MENORAH LIGHTERS!!!! Notice the electric one (pic #2)is on display for the people OUTSIDE and that is why the lights are from left to right as opposed to the one with candles (pic #1)which is right to left.

leslie thanks for spelling out the correct order of the candles. i am not jewish and FH is no help. i was doing it backwards!!! i knew i should have called his mom to ask!

Are they the same?
'Sam-e-ach' means 'happy' in Hebrew, so chag sameach would be the correct way to wish someone a happy holiday.

Does the wax get into the bottles and is it hard to clean if it does?
If we're talking about the same menorah - the wax can't get into the bottles - it sits in top in the little candleholder part.

Yup - that's what I thought - same one!!! I just looked at mine and it looks like there is a tiny opening - but nothing has ever dripped into the bottles and I've been using it for three years now!
