happy thoughts for tommybride

If anyone has a spare happy thought - please send it Tommybride's way.
His brother was in a motorcycle acciddent on the way home from work. Ironically (if you know the story of my brother and his deli...a car pulled out in front of him and he drove into it.)
He's ok, has pretty bad scrapes on his arms and legs and his knees are in terrible shape - all swollen and bruised. The bike is destroyed as well. He was in the hospital yesterday - and they took care of him by candlelight, but he's home now.
Tom was very worried about him though (obviously) and had a pretty tough time, so if you could spare an extra hug, he'd appreciate it!

My thoughts and prayers go out to you all! I wish him a speedy recovery.

we ride and when I hear of anything with a motorcycle accident I get so upset. The bike can always be replaced, I am glad his brother is alright though

i hate to say this - but that boy is very very lucky!!! it could have been a lot worse.....the doctors were amazed that his injuries weren't worse!

I hate drivers who dont look out for bikes, its my BIGGEST pet peeve.

ALWAYS look when pulling out, switching lanes etc!

TURN YOUR HEAD & look always!!!! Mirrors are not enough!

Glad that he's ok!!!

One of FHs brothers USED to ride - after his last accident about 2 years ago, he won't ride again. He was in the left lane going straight and some jacka s s from the right lane decided to turn left...FHs brother drove right into him and was flipped & flung from his bike. He was in the hospital for close to a week...(and as much as I love him...)the dumba s s was only wearing one of the black Harley caps - that are just for SHOW(!)...thankfully there wasn't any damage to his brain.

He still paints bikes though

I lost my ex & another boyfriend (later after we broke up but we remained friends) on bikes.


They are so dangerous alot due to cars

Cars have no regards for anyone but themselves. Pedestrians, riders, animals - all at the mercy of them. It's bullsh it.
