Harpist

Has anyone had a harpist at their ceremony? If so who do you reccomend?

Why don't you post this on the newlywed board. Also, post about it on the vendor board so you can get an idea of prices.

We are using a haprist through Stan Wiest. He has been very helpful. You can also put this on the vendor board and they will reply.

This is who I plan on using. She has samples on her website - the 'Here Comes the Bride' will make you cry. I also saw her in person at the Fortunoff's event about 2 months ago and she was awesome.

I'm using Janet King!!! She is FANTASTIC!

When she played 'Here comes the Bride' at the bridal expo for me, I cried!

She can also play the Beatles and all other classical music. And she's very sweet.

I definitely recommend giving her a call or go to her website: newyorkharpist.com.

Janet King is $500 for cocktail hour. I thought it was ridiculous. I called around and found harpists anywhere from $250 to $500. I think we are going to go with the $250 person. FM for any more info you need.

Okay so who are the harpists that are on the cheaper side? 500 is too much in my opinion.

I don't know about prices, but I think Royal Brass also has a harpist. They are usually pretty good.

I had written back in April that I was planning on Janet King. Now I can say that I actually did book her for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. FM if you want info.
