Harrison House Glen Cove

Hello,
I'm getting married at the Harrison House in Glen Cove this year, and am wondering what other people's experiences were. So far it's gone ok, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had experiences there, or gone to weddings there. Let me know if you have any info-positive or negative. I've attached a pic.
Thank you!

Re: Harrison House Glen Cove

my brother got married there in november of 2001 and it was just lovely. i really liked that the cocktail hour set-up with multiple little rooms. from what i remember, the food was delicious and the service was great. the only negative was that it was quite crowded in the ballroom. they had over 200 guests and we were really cramped in there, but they didn't want to use the side room for guests - too far out of the way. if you have less than 175 guests, it should be perfect! also, the bar on the 3rd floor was great for after-party. we kept the place going until 3:00am when we were told to leave. overall, it was a wonderful affair. congratulations and good luck!

Re: Harrison House Glen Cove

My sister got married there a couple of years ago. It was beautiful. She was married out side on the lawn, with the cocktail hour by the pool. She had about 145 people, so we were not crowded at all. A bunch of their friends stayed over and used the bar upstairs with all the games as well as the bowling alley. I loved their affair so much I actually looked at the place for my own. It is a gorgeous place and your wedding will be amazing.

Re: Harrison House Glen Cove

I went to my friends wedding there last summer and it was really nice. The ceremony was outside and it was beautiful. I thought the food was amazing.
