Harrison House Wedding

I'm considering Harrison House for a small Feb wedding - 100 - 110 people. Price? Quality? Space? How much do the hotel rooms cost for guests? Photos? Any feedback you can is appreciated.

i just went to one there; i don't know much about it but it was beautiful. lovely room--great food. elegant.

I looked there for about 200 people.. I believe the price started at $160pp++ in Spring 05. I think the ballroom better accomodates a smaller wedding.. We did not like the layout for something our size-- but, it is a beautiful place. I am not sure how much the rooms were- but, although they just redid them- they were not really our taste. We did not get a chance to see any of the suites though..

ETA- I think they have a web site with shots of the place??

It's mostly photos of the outside. I heard that the inside is not as impressive though. Is this true?

if I can remeber try talking to ThongLori....she had her wedding there. She also had a ceremony in Italy, but if I can remember, her LI ceremony was there.

Hey you're date will be my 1st anniversary!! We looked at the Harrison House but we decided to go with the Metropolitan instead. I didn't like the lay out of the ballroom and they didn't have any kind of break in the price for a winter wedding. I was looking in the winter of 2003 and they quoted me $120 a head plus the normal 20% gratuity and 8.5% sales tax and that of course was just the very basic package. We got a lot more for a lot less at the Metropolitan.

It's really nice. They quoted me $185 for a Saturday night in Sept/Oct.

Beautiful place. the outside is gorgeous for the cocktail party. The rooms for the guests are outrageous. I think they were $500 a night and we got it for $250 because my mother is a travel agent. It was the best wedding I've been to, but also the most expensive. If you have the money, it's a wonderful place. there's a pub upstairs that made for a great after-hours party too.
