Has anyone had an NST test during pregnancy? I am 33 weeks and Dr. wants one done once a week from now till delivery. The first one is scheduled for today and a little nervous.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is an NST test?? I thought I've read it all!
D'OH! It just occured to me!! Non-Stress Test. I'm only 23 1/2 weeks so no plan for that yet, but, I have heard it's not uncommon. From what I understand, it's not harmful to you (no drugs) or your baby. Apparently, if the baby doesn't react to a noise or after being stimulated on his/her own, then they'll perform a stress test.
