Has anyone been out driving in the last couple of hours or so?
I'm having an anxiety attack thinking about having to drive back to Hofstra for 6pm class. How is everyone finding the roads to be?

I feel like it's so random.. I was out for like 20 minutes doing errands at lunch and it went from a drizzle, to large balls of snow falling.. to slush.. to rain... it was really crappy and COLD!

I'm in Baldwin - right next to Hempstead and we have had nothing but rain all day. I know its going to switch over - but right now all you have to worry about is wet roads from rain.

i work in RecCorp plaza (the two glass buildings across from the coliseum) and it's not even raining right now .... it's been just rain today (and not even that bad)

it is just rainy, the driving is slow, but the roads are not icy.

I just went outside and my WHOLE front yard (Which is concrete) is a HUGE SLUSH POND< IT was like walking through a melting slupee, it's awful. I shoveled it and It was splashing all over the place! Queens ***** and now I have no hope of eve classes being canceled if it's only been raining out there... it's been snowing here since late morning GAAAAAAAH

SEEEEE??? ST JOHNS' is like 7 blocks from my house and THEY HAVE CANCELED EVENING CLASSES, cause it's that bad here!!
Crap.
I don'r care about being in class, I just really really really really don't want to drive

it just started snowing (a heavy slush-snow) here in uniondale now ....
don't go to class ... it's not worth it ....

Yea no joke like 2 min ago the snow started to full - those nasty HUGE flakes that are slushy. It might now be worth it.

i say skip it tonight. FH said its getting bad where he works (right next to queens) but i m working in brookville now.. (glen cove) and it has been raining and snowing heavy all day... right now as i look outside all i see is baseball size snowflakes lol no rain. but i get to go out to suffolk county where it is probably all rain! lol

Queens, as of 5:00 was a mess....mostly slush, but very slippery and while the cars are going very slowly people are very impatient and it's causing a lot of trouble. Someone started cursing me out for not moving, on my own block, while I was waiting for him to move out of my driveway so I could park

I'm in Selden, but I work in Westbury. The roads aren't that bad, but there's A LOT of traffic.

I'm in Commack, and it's not bad here. Just drizzling right now, but the roads are a bit slick. I'm hoping they don't freeze later; I have to pick FH up from class at 9!!

I really hope you classes were canceled. Driving home to Queens this afternoon it was like driving into a different world. Nassau was just wet, but the highways and streets in Queens ******!!! They hadn't been plowed yet, and everyone was sliding!
