OMG I can't believe this story about Gina the florist. I never thought to ask all my vendors 'what if'... I guess we have all learned a lesson from this.

Yeah, it's really sad..but I'm happy to say, this is typically my first question with all vendors. Take Designs By Rose. They're a mother-daughter team, plus, the husband's there. They should never have the problem that Gina had. I feel terrible for the bride who had no flowers for her wedding day. That stinks.

I've been M*I*A all day and now I see that it was all a lie? There really was no car accident? Wow, LIW has their work cut out for them. If this is true, she will definitely be removed as an official vendor.

Seriously, I was just on the BHB board and was like ok i can't take it anymore...
That discussion has been going on for days, and while I think its horrible, we all get the point. Everyone just want to comment on the drama, I'm like ahhh please new topic, this is all I've seen for several daysss (of course I have to read the updates though, lol)

Just a tip for all of us - go with a reputable vendor - one who has been in the business for many years and has many workers on their staff - regardless if they are more money..... Having peace of mind when it comes to your wedding is PRICELESS!!!!!!

I mean, I'm really all for the smaller businesses. We all know that things can happen with bigger businesses also. Just a few weeks ago, another LIW floral vendor completely screwed up a bride's flowers and cake so....you just have to be really careful no matter who you book with.

a bride had no flowers on her wedding day, found out from someone that the florist didnt show bc she was in a bad car accident with her daughter in the car. She apparently lost her phone & lost all her contacts & couldnt call people so she would email. Also was told she had broken ribs from the accident & couldnt talk.
Long story short, someone went to the womans house to find out it was all a lie. Apparently she got too many orders & became overwhelmed & took off or something

Actually she was only in business for 2 years -according to her.... 'she had over 20 years experience'.... you wont find a review from Gina past 2008. She is relatively new on LIW
