Thanks Denise Denise knows FH so she knws what a pain in the a$$ he can be. She also knows what a great guy he is in every aspect except wedding planning!

I keep telling him that he is going to be so happy when he sees how great this wedding is going to be...but its 7 months away so it seems so far off....

Thats the only way to go. Otherwise he turns into a weight on my shoulder.

Rachel are you sure we aren't marrying the same guy???????? I am going through the EXACT same thing!!! He won't even register w/ me!

He may regret having the attitude he is having especially when everyone on the big day is raving how beautiful everything is he will realize he didn't help,but if it makes things less stressful then i say go ahead and do your thing!

I have heard the program comment too! And to make him do something beyond making my e-ring has been very hard! I even had to go alone to the showcase at WM alone because I did not want him there putting boring or tired faces

Does it make me happy? No it doesn't, but I guess guys are mostly like that; they don't want do to anything with it but paying and going, but everytime they can they critize our choices ... anyway everytime I can I drag him with me to do things like the registrying, and my make-up/hair trial (not a good idea though ) In addition, I play guilt-trips hehehe!

Patiente, is the only way out ...

ahhh yes, someone who feels my pain. ive tried SO much to get him to take care of his responsbilities for this wedding. but he takes SOOO long getting around to ANYTHING! it's been months of practically nagging on my part cuz there's no other way to get it through his head. last week i gave up .. if he wants a photographer at the NY reception, hes gunna have to find one who isnt ALREADY BOOKED! my only motivating factor here is that the wedding and california reception will be great cuz i'm in charge ... and all his NY buddies will laugh at him cuz his NY reception will S*U*C*K!!!

LOL. Save yourself the trouble and don't give him the details, when he sees how beautiful everything is on the wedding day, you can give him one big fat I TOLD YOU SO!
My FI does this to me a bit. Whenever I suggest something that is a bit different then the norm, he freaks out and says, 'why do you always have to be different.' I think he is comfortable with the idea of a basic, cookie cutter wedding. And this was just about me walking down the aisle to somethig other than 'here comes the bride!' I must admit, he has improved since he sees me doing so much research and putting so much time into planning, now he says, 'if that's what you want, you do all the research so you know better!'
