gotten frustrated at their FH about their lack of helping plan the wedding? I have to admit that I am getting sick of doing everything myself. I'm not marrying myself!!! I know that he is busy, but so am I. I have talked and talked to him about it but it is not changing. Am I the only one who feels this way?

NO! I AM HAVING A FIT! I AM IN THE SAME BOAT AS YOU!!!! And you know what makes me more mad? One of his friends just IM's me and said that he was telling everyone all about the wedding plans, place, and vendors! He didn't even come to see the reception hall until after I booked it!!!!!!!

It *****!!! My FH has gotten invovled once to say ' I don't know. Why do we need to do this now the wedding is over a year away.' Like I don't know when the wedding is!!!!!

I tell Derek we are going to meet with someone a week in advance and he says GREAT just remind me the day before. I remind him and he gives me this whole sob story about going and how he could find something better to do. THANK GOD I have all the vendors booked except the florist (he doesnt get any input there) so we dont have to do anything else together... as an engaged couple

all he did was b*tch and moan at the showcases, saying it was such a waste of time... no, some of it was, but we were able to narrow down our choices (or should i say narrow down MY choices) because of the shows. Every time i want to buy a magazine he says.. no its a waste of money.. ONE FREAKING MAG WON'T MAKE YOU BROKE!!!

I was furious, but ya know what? Its' kinda nice not having his opinion. I have been able to change my mind about things and not have to answer to anyone else. I can have whatever entrees I want, whatever colors I want, and all he is incharge of is picking out the invitations. Which, of course, we can not agree on...

I wish I can complain about that but I am complaining that he is to involved in the wedding planning. Everything I do, I need to pass it by him. Every place I go, I need to go with him. I guess it does not know that the wedding is 'my' day.

He wants to be involved in major things. he couldn't care less about color schemes, flowers, favors... I don't mind otherwise I would have to wait forever to get anything done

I really don't mind though, I am so used to hearing him say, 'Whatever makes you happy', that I just go about doing it all by myself. He is great in other ways, so....

One thing we found, people in the wedding business are intimidated by guys coming along/being there. They won't BS you as much as they would if you were alone or with your mom or MOH. My FH is a MASTER negotiator and he has gotten some great deals for us, and done some fantastic bargaining- I know I would have NEVER been able to do that on my own. I would feel bad. So I'm glad he comes with me. We've saved thousands- and I'm not kidding!

He'll come in handy with negotiating and talking to vendors.. im timid when it comes to that stuff. He's also one of those 'whatever you want dear' . He's given a few opinions, but its mainly up to me

Different situation here, Brian would be like just book it, I don't care...Going alone, but knowing what I wanted and what I was talking about saved me a few thousand dollars.

David did go with me to look at our site, but that is where it ended. We are suppose to have his friend do the photography and his Best Friend is suppose to marry us so, I told him three weeks ago to call them and let them know that we set a date. Has he done that? NOPE. I guess I just need to realize that I am going to plan this wedding by myself and if he does not like it too bad.

FH is really good with this. Last night he helped me stuff some of our eparty invites. The night before he folded all the cards while me and my mom put on the ribbons. I am so happy he does help me an give his opinion. B/C I am losing it the last couple of weeks I have been stressing between work and wedding planning and he has helped me out with all the wedding stuff.
