turn on you because you are so happy with your relationship with DH or FH? I lost a person who I thought was a friend.We have known each other for years.Now she seems annoyed and bitter because I am happy and she is not. I guess she was never a friend after all.

I agree. You don't need people like that in your life who are jealous & hate to see you or others happy.

i had that but now she has started to come around - some people are just unhappy with themselevs and until they become happy with themselves they are just bitter to anyone and everyone who may be happy....

I had the same situation. I tried talking to her, to no avail. Unfortunately, she was not happy that I was.
