Just wondering. I guess our most famous LIWer is Heidla since she's on Broadway. And I remember Julz was on the Today show. Do we have any others or your FH/FW? If so, let us know where we may have seen you.
I've never been on anything - always wanted to try out for a game show but never got around to it.

I was on eyewitness news.. a career counselor I was working with asked me to do a favor and meet with a colleague of her's.. They came to my apt and everything to interview me as an educated, professional woman who was unemployed.. They asked me a bunch of questions-- felt I answered them eloquently.. then they took the stupidest thing I said and that was the sound bite they took.. I now know how politicians feel!
Anyway= seeing myself on tv was absolutely mortifying.. I have no idea how tv personalities and actors do it.

When I worked for Hofstra I was on the weekend edition of Today in New York (channel 4) promoting their Annual Dutch Festival.
When I was dancing alot as a teenager I wound up in alot of News 12 stories. I think my mother has the clips on a video tape somehere

When I was in grade school I was on japanese TV analyzing modern art of all things. I was on New Yrok Kids radio many times. I was on community TV interviewing al stabile for a class prject in 7th grade (I got to ask the first question). I was weather background when I was singing in the park randomly with some kids from my a capella group in HS. A year or two ago I was in the audience for caroline rhea. I've never seen myself on TV, though...except for briefly on caroline rhea.

I was on TV briefly because I was down at ground zero and at the family assistance center at chelsea piers doing mental health counseling after 9/11 (i'm part of the red cross disaster team). I was there for a few weeks, it was quite an overload but an experience I will never forget and I hold very dear to me.

I was in the audience at MTV's Remote Control my friend Terry won EVERYTHING!!
Also in the audience for Rikki Lake & Carnie Wilson Talk show. MY friend calls me everytime he sees the repeats!
I was in the audience for the George Michaels Diet Coke commercial I wore a thick black bracelet & you can see my hand! (it was shown maybe twice)
I was also seen on Monday Night Raw, Wrestlemania, & a few other pay per views.

I was at the Montel Williams show, but I dont' think I showed up on camera....
I was on camera for a brief second when I went to the Daily Show - when Craig Kilborn ws the host though.....we had a moment actually

I heard that my home made the news ticker on News 12 when my neighbor drove her car into it!
I think I was on News12 when I was a kid. We had taken a field trip to the county police dept. and they showed clips of it...I was in a clip walking around!

I was on News 12 when I donated my hair to locks of love. They showed a clip of them handing me my pony-tail and me gasping. Nobody I know saw though, thank god, but my mom taped it!

In 3rd grade, my class sent letters in bottles that were dropped in the middle of the Atlantic. We received responses from England and were on channel 2 news. I've also been interviewed on the street in the city - once by MTV, asking me questions about the Superbowl and then having me and Brad sing The Star Spangled Banner...there was a clip of us on MTV singing it - it was terrible! Another time, I was interviewed by ABC (I think) in front of J&R asking whether I have appliances repaired when they break or do I buy a new one. I was on the news that night too.

-- I hosted a show for the Travel Channel about 5th Ave thru a volunteer gig I was involved with .. but was only a one-time deal.
-- My biz has been in several national magazines like Lucky, Jane, Star and coming soon is YM, Redbook and Lifetime!!

Lori I just looked at ure site again. I love ure stuff. I can't wait for it to be winter. I might have to get a cute hat And maybe a scarf for my friend for christmas!

Awww thanks!! We have new styles coming soon (gotta update the site) and I will def inform you of any sample sales we have!! Hopefully LIW won't throw me off like they did last year for 'advertising'

When I worked at Fun Zone i was in the commercial :) I was also caught in the background a few times on Channel 12 when I was in school... think I was on camera once at a Yankees game as well :) That's all I can think of!
Oh yeah, and when I went to see Ricki Lake you can see me in the audience... haha

I was once in the Macys Thanksgiving day parade and they showed a small clip of me my ex boyfriend years ago- I was also in the audience for Sally Jessy Raphael. I was also an audience member of Emeril Live! About 2 years ago. Every once in awhile they re run the sow. By the way the show is not live it is taped months in advance. My best friends sister won tickets and we all went.

I have been interviewed on a few things. I was on Channel 8 in CT when I was 7 for a black-out story, and then I was on News 12's wedding scenes segment last fall.
I'm on the radio all the time, though. (Mainly because I'm a DJ! LOL)
