Has anyone ever gotten anything they know was a re-gift?

I got something last year from someone.
It was a shirt in a size XS which I am not. I probably couldn't have worn that size since I was a child. It had no tags and it was the size of the person who gave it to me.
I threw it out when I got home.

Yep, one year my cousin gave us a huge tray of cookies for Christmas. When we got home, I noticed there was a card inside from her friend TO HER! She's a cheap @$$ though, so it was no real surprise....and the cookies were actually delicious!

Teri that reminds me - years ago when I was living with an old boyfriend, we gave our landlord a box of cookies & baked goods for christmas. I guess they felt they needed to give us something so he must have gone digging in his basement for a bottle of Jack Daniels that was at least 10 years old. The bottle was dusty and the label was peeling off

I know someone that got a breadmaker and when she opened it up, it was covered in flour

A relative gave my husband a cross pen. She said it was the perfect gift for the junior executive. When she left, he showed it to me- it had her name engraved on it.
