I wanted to look there until I saw the prices Then when I looked for reviews on here, I saw one bad review and said absolutely not. For that kind of money, I should only see absolutely amazing reviews.

It was the first place I looked at...once I saw the price just to use the place, I vomited a bit in my mouth and then stopped looking. It is VERY expensive to be married there, but if you have the money then i heard it was worth it...

a friend of mine got married there last summer. the place is nice and all... but i dont know about that price. you have to pay a fee ON TOP OF the price per head

jmo - the place is gorgeous but for the money, i think there are other places just as beautiful.

It is beautiful....but pricey (I think I was quoted about $275 pp...on top of a hefty site fee). Also, to be quite honest - I LOVE Oheka and all and have dreamed about getting married there since I was a little girl (I am from Huntington), but...the reception room isn't anything special at all (IMO), and therefore the place lost it's charm because of that (I hope I dont offend anyone!). The grounds and other rooms of the castle are gorgeous though!

I was going to look there but I heard from multiple sources that the food was just okay, and to my family, FH, and I, food is THE MOST important thing.

I heard the same thing. My mom went to a wedding there this year. She said the food was so so and if you are paying 275++ the food better be out of this world. She did say it was absolutely gorgeous.

i know of someone who had there wedding there. they were both in their 40s first marriage & both had successful businesses before their wedding. i heard they maxed out all their personal credit cards to afford it & then when an employee asked for a $0.50 raise he was told no. months later found out they also used their business credit card & wrote part of the wedding off as a business expense.

& my friend who was at the wedding didn't think the food was worth all the money.

it's absolutely beautiful but I think it's 7K just to use the site on top of all other fees. and I have heard from a few people who got married there that the service was not that great. Things may have changed since then...not sure about that.

i herad its not worth the $.... supposly the site fee was $10,000 in june on top of like almost $300 a head

Yessssssss!!!!!! I went to a bridal showcase there and all I kept saying to FH was ....OMG Joey Fatone was here I'm lucky that my FH finds my crush funny!

the friend that got married there...the bride complained about it. she said their service was NOT top notch. she said she was also disappointed in their florist that was from there i beleive. she followed it up with a 'dont get married there' (like i could afford it anyway lol)

We looked at Oheka first. WAYYY too much but absolutely stunning. My Dad was so funny- he's like 'you can get married wherever you want.' Then I went there and saw the price and told Daddy and he said 'Um, okay moving on the the next one!'

It's a stunning place. I have a FBIL who worked for Patken and has shot weddings there. He said food is okay and not the greatest but the ambiance which is what you're paying for is amazing.

im not exactly sure, i dont wanna say its them if its not ya know. all i know is the chick told me she spent like 12K on flowers ( ) and didnt get her money's worth and they didnt set things up how she wanted

also, i have never been there, just seen pictures and while i think the staircase is GORGEOUS...the pics of the rooms never impessed me, not my taste
