Has anyone ever had Shingles before??

I got it like 2 weeks ago, its not a bad case just little blisters on my thumb....i was on medication and its getting better but i feel horrible and still cant eat anything much, I'm always tired, and have the chills. I was wondering if anyone has had Shingles and felt the same way?? I'm so nervous from it! The doctor said i will be fine but I dont feel any better yet!

No, but my mom had them three times. Many years ago she had them on her back and couldn't really sleep well. It can get pretty bad, but eventually it gets better & goes away. Feel better soon!!

I've never had it but one of my girlfriends has. Its a nerve related condition - which is why you feel nervous. Try not to stress (better said than done, I know) I wish I knew more to tell you, but it does go away.

Thanks! Yeah i feel nervous all the time, and I feel like i cant controll it and that was freaking me out!! I dont have it anywhere else except my thumb, it is clearing up but i still feel like CRAP!! Its funny how something so little can make u feel sooooo bad!!

My mother just got over a bad case of shingles (on her side around to her back). She was laid up for a few weeks but she is completely fine now.

Thanks! I know it affects the nervous system....but for how long?? I'm feeling so on edge everyday! Its very annoying!

I did about 7 years ago! I had a small case on my neck. It was SO uncomfortable!! I took the medication & wore a band-aid so no-one would touch it. It feels like an eternity but it does go away!! Yours should be ending soon!!

It will clear up
My husband had it a few months ago. A big patch on the back of his shoulder. It took a few weeks to totally clear up. Feel Better
