Has anyone ever seen these instead of chair covers...

Has anyone ever seen like a simple square to cover the back of chairs instead of the typical chair covers used at weddings?

A florist was trying to describe it to me, but I can't visualize it without a picture. He said they would be silk.

Anyone?

I wish I had a pic since I know what she means. The silk piece would just cover the back but you would still see the legs and the seat of the chair.

Does it look nice or not really?
I originally wanted chair covers but I'm getting married at Tribeca Rooftop and then I thought it might be too much for the somewhat modern/NY look I'm going for... What do you think of the half back thing?

I know what you mean..its a chair back cover..and you can get a sash with it. I got a catalog from chaircoversonline.com and it has pics of it. Maybe the website does? I'll check it out.

Yes! I do believe that is what he's talking about. Thanks so much for the picture, that is the style of chair we have almost exactly... so that gives me a great idea of how it would look. Although our cover would just be a bit different from the one in the picture...

THE ONLY thing i'm not sure of is if ours would just cover the top like that, or the whole back? do they make both? hmmm

I don't think they go that far down to the floor though, but these pictures are definitely helpful!

I think they are a good idea, maybe not as slippery as a full chair cover?
