So me and my MOH were texting back and forth last night about upcoming concerts we're going to and I said to her 'you should google AJ Ingoglia, his work is amazing, I don't even know these people and I'm tearing up!'
Her response: 'no way, I'm watching criminal minds. You're a little obsessed with weddings.'
Uhhh did I miss something? Obsessed?! We were talking about concerts! I told her I would remind her she said that when she's planning hers (she just got engaged two weeks ago).
I know I'm a little overly sensitive but wasn't that just unnecessarily bitchy?
*this same girl has also said multiple times, I can't believe you're spending this much money on a wedding. And I only have a 20k budget!!!!

I would do just like you said, remind her once she gets into her planning! I agree with the other girls, no one really understand unless they have done it or are going through it. You can tell us about your plans anytime you want! We are always here ;)

I haven't been told that I'm obsessed with weddings but I have been made to feel like my wedding is so far away that it doesn't matter. We're the last wedding of the year, with both of our best friends and a handful of other friends getting married before us. We're constantly shelling out money for other people's weddings with absolutely no regard for our own. I've been told I had to wait for others to send save the dates before I could send my own, that its too soon to look at bridesmaid dresses, that there's a 2 week period in October that is 'safe' and not stealing anyone else's thunder for my shower. I don't like being the center of attention, but I'd at least like to feel like my wedding matters as much as everyone else's. Sorry for the rant, but bottom is I'm in the same boat as you girls! I agree with the other ladies, we'll happily listen (or read) about your plans all day!

Yea sounds bitchy!! I had my first wedding nightmare the other night which included no makeup/no hair and late plus it was cold and raining in July lol and who saved my day but the bachelor winner Katherine-- some wacky dream! I am too obsessed I guess even in my sleep

I get told this ALL the time by friends. At first it was funny, but now it's starting to get insulting. They've started being a little mean about it. My opinion is if they're not excited for me, if they're not a great friend, that's a perfect way to cut my guest list! LOL

I'm going to see Andrew McMahon at the Paramout next month!! I've been dying to see him live for literally 10 years. I was also thinking about Matchbox 20 and possibly that big country music festival this summer. Who are you going to see??
I thought I responded to this earlier, but I guess it didn't go through.
I'm going to see Dave Matthews Band 3 times this summer. It's kind of a tradition with my 3 best friends that we go to as many of their summer concerts as we can every year.
We're also doing a couples outing to Peach Festival in Scranton, PA. It's a 3 day music festival that the Allman Brothers started. They play once each day of the festival, plus Warren Haynes does a set called 'Wake Up with Warren' on Sunday morning, which is pretty awesome. I don't know how much I'll like it since it involves camping, and I'm not exactly the 'sleep on the ground, don't charge your phone, and no indoor plumbing' kind of girl. LOL
I didn't know Matchbox 20 was playing around here!!!
YES!!! We're actually waiting for the tickets to go on sale!! My MOH and I are totally going!!

I think this year I might be hitting my 40th show!! We even went last summer at Jones Beach in the pouring rain! LOL

I was at that show too! FH and I went, I felt so bad for him because he just had oral surgery the day before and he was miserable and doesn't really like DMB and we were completely soaked LOL he was a real trooper that day.
