I went to a fire department installation dinner there, which is similar to a wedding reception in the options they get, and I thought it was great. The staff was great, food was great, and the place is beautiful. This was about 5 years ago though.

We went to a wedding there and had a very nice time..bonus was that the hotel was on the grounds for guests who wanted to stay and drink or what have you..only thing i really remember was the odd shape of the reception room and how it seemed like an L...

I got married there in 2005. They did a fantastic job- and people raved about the food. I don't know what the previous poster was referring to when she mentioned an 'L' shaped reception room- the receptions are held in the grand ballroom- which is huge.

I was lucky that renovations to the hotel had JUST been completed about a month before my wedding- so the place was looked amazing.

The hotel is very elegant, they treated my guests very well. I couldn't be happier with the service we received......

The previous poster was referring to the Hamlet Windwatch which is right next to the hotel (in the same parking lot)

I've been to a Holiday party at the Hamlet Windwatch, it was great! Definitely worth looking into...Also, I am going to a wedding there at the end of march and I will post a review.
