Has anyone gotten a 2nd job to help pay for their wedding?

Hey girls, I was just wondering if anyone here got a 2nd job to make paying for wedding expenses a little easier?
Right now I have a full-time 9-5 job during the week, looking for a second job, but I really don't know what I can do or what to look for. I thought of doing retail but it pays practically nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks in Advance!

I don't know how I found the time, but I took a 2nd job waitressing. Some weeks I was working more than 60 hours. But I kept a picture of my DH in my order pad, so I looked at him with every order I took. And it remeinded me why I was doing it.
The year and a half went quick! My entire paycheck, and tips, went into our joint savings for the wedding. And my DH was taking all his overtime (which he volunteered for all the time) and his bonuses and putting it into that account too.
Although we are already married, I kept the job. But I cut it down to 1 night a week because I like the extra money.

I do Passion Parties! I love it because I get to party and make money at the same time. (I get paid that night!) Plus it's cool to meet other brides and trade notes on wedding planning when I'm doing their bachelorette parties! I make 40% of every Item I sell, so on average I'm making $50-$100 an hour. (3 hr. party). So far it has paid for all of my vendor deposits, as well as kept me afloat this winter when my FH got laid off. If any one want's more info, FM me.

you could try waitressing at a high end restaurant. you could probably work full shifts on the weekends and a dinner or two during the week.
none of my friends waitress now but back in college they'd make a few hundred dollars a day.

I got a second job at a restaurant. I work 40 hours a week at my day job, and about 30-40 hours a week at my night/weekend job. It is a lot of work, but we have a house that our day job paycheck goes to, so the 2nd job is paying for the wedding right now.
