yes, they called me and they wanted me to go pick up my prizes with IDs at Holiday Inn by JFK. I took whatever information and never showed up. they seem very scammish and I really didn't care to waste my time going to JFK for a scam. they keep calling though :(

My favorite is when these vendors get my number or e-mail from a bridal show registration and I happen to miss that show. They call me and thank me for stopping by their booth and I reply ' oh yea, I didn't but your welcome' I could only picture their mouths dropping!!!

i actually did it ... it's not really a scam ...
you go there and sit through a 90 minute session ... the guy is kind of obnoxious and tells you about pots and pans. then it's over and he sits there with you and tells you about their packages ... cheapest one is $800 (and that's the discounted price) ... but you don't have to buy anything ... you can just say no and you get the hotel & gift card anyhow ...
here's the mini-catch: it's a certificate for a hotel and you have to mail it out along with a $100 check (it says it's refundable though) ... then they send you a coupon code or something to be used. I haven't done it yet because i'm a bit nervous to send $100 without even knowing which hotel is available.
the $1000 is for a company that sells coupons ... i haven't tried that yet but it sounds legit.

My fiance and I actually went to the presentation today at the Holiday Inn. It all seemed legit especially the coupons and there was no pressure to buy anything but I am still looking at the vacation details. If anyone does the vacation part let me know!
