Has anyone had any experience with wedding insurance?

I am looking into buying wedding insurance and I am looking at different plans. Does anyone have any experience with, recommendations for, or insight about wedding insurance?

We got insurance from WedSafe. WedSafe provides five different kinds of coverage. We got event (cancellation) and liability insurance. There are different levels of coverage. We paid $540 for our two types of coverage for policies that were a few thousand below the cost of our wedding. Our wedding cost about the average of an LI wedding and we were willing to eat the rest if we had to make a claim.

Read the policies carefully, because not every event is covered. Additionally, check to see if you are covered for liability at a level for which you are comfortable under your present renter's or homeowner's insurance; if so, you may not want to get liability coverage.

There was another bride on here who got married on the water and there was a real chance that weather might prevent the wedding from taking place--do a search on 'wedding insurance' and you'll probably find it. Otherwise, it's optional, but we wanted to get it, just in case.
