they put 2 platinum balls inside the ring to tighten it up -- worked out wondeful - with room to grow.....JUST KIDDING!!!!! lol
I had the same problem but after I got it back from California the stones in the invisable setting were set to high and now are all chipped. Did you have your ring reapprasied to see if it came back ok?

Mine was too big, but I had two platinum balls fused on the inside of the band so I didnt have to take anything away from the ring. It tightened up the ring, and they can also be removed if I wanted to remove them in the future.
I resized mine from a 5 1/2 to a 4 1/2 at Roosevelt Field mall - it was fine! I actually sat next to the jeweler and watched him do it!

you shouldn't really have to leave your ring anywhere to get it resized.
In most case, they should and will do it right in front of you. I would never leave my diamond anywhere. They can pop it out and replace it with a fake.
My FH and I waited and watched our jeweler resize my ring.
The only bad thing is my band is white gold, and where it was resized, it's turning yellow a bit. I think I just have to get it dipped to white.
I don't think I will do that until right before the wedding though.
Mine was resizes in 45 minutes. Take it to the original jeweler if possible;e. They don't see it as making the 15 dollars to resize it. They see it as you are unhappy with the ring, etc. They did an extra special job. And also offered me an incredible price on a wedding band I loved because of the inconvenience!
