Has anyone heard from Aliciahelene recently?

Alicia!!! So glad to hear from you! YOu are always in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I knew who was hiring. You should probably post the type of job your are seeking for on LIWs. YOu never know!

You guys are amazing!! Neaniebean86..that poem is AWESOME!!!!! I love it!!!Im definately making a copy of that.
I do know that I am giving those boys a better life..I will love them endlessly, unconditionally and unbelievably..I just wanted to spoil them to an extent and money is going to be so tight..I dont know how Ill do it. But things will work out..I didnt eat at fancy places growing up..and I feel that I didnt miss out..so things will be hard..but they will have the necessities..more love than they know what to do with..more friends and family than they can handle, they will know the meaning of love and thats whats most important. I will spoil them in other ways. I just wish I could have given them a loving father. I know they will be great with me..I just am feeling bad. All along, they have received pictures of me and Dex..now they are just reciveing pictures of me..I wonder how hard it will be for them. I wish things were different, but it is what it is. Im doing my best. I do find it ironic though that Paulos always shows pictures of ME to traveling parents..maybe because I am the one who sends the gifts, I am the one who writes the cards..I have done everything, inlciuding paying every dime of this adoption. Dex has done NOTHING. Maybe it showed and Paulos knows. I just dont want those little boys to hurt in any way.

But thanks for saying Im strong..it makes me wonder if I just dont see it because Im too deep in it. Man..life is funny..full of surprises and full of craziness!!!

Wow Alicia I must have missed a whole chapter of your life! I'm so sorry for what you are going through with Dex, I had know idea.
I've said it all along you are such an amazing person with a stong spirit, you can get through anything. I wish you better days ahead - everything will work out, I know this because I feel like I know you, nothing is going to deter you from making your dreams come true. Right now, thats having your boys here safe and sound.

I was just thinking of you this morning, too...I was actually looking for your cell phone number....

at any rate, if anyone has the strength, I know it is you. I am glad to hear that the trip to Ethiopia was a good one, and that the boys are excited! They cannot wait to meet their new fantastic mom!

You guys are so sweet!!!! You blow me away!!! For those who asked what you could help with, please just say lots of prayers and send lots of hugs...I need em !!!! But you already ARE helping me..to come here and read the beautiful things you say..it makes me feel so good. It makes me feel that maybe I am strong, I just cant see it right now. So you guys give me more hope and I need it!!! SO THANK YOU!!! I need prayers for a good job. I ahve an interview on friday, but I dont think the hours will work out..i know theer are two 12-8 shifts reuqired, and who would take care of the boys after school? I cant afford a nanny and after school programs are only until 6!!!! Something will turn out!!

Something will work out. The boys will make friends in school, you'll meet other parenets. Some one c could watch them after school, it won't be as expensive as a full time Nanny.

When are you supposed to go there? May? July? I forget.
