I have 8 months til the wedding, so I really didn't think it was a big deal. My shower is going to be the beginning of August, so I have time for that, too.

When I tell people I haven't registered yet, they make a shocked face and act like I'm a big loser or something

When did YOU register? (How long before the wedding)

You should register soon b/c when we first got engaged the first thing (besides when and where is the wedding) people asking is where are you Registerd at. People like to send gifts and if you're registered then can get you things you need and want. Go to BBB. They're sooo helpful.

I agree. I registered for some things right away (things that people would want to give as an engagement gift) I didnt have a party but I received so many things off of my registry. You'd be surprised how many people will buy off of there even before your shower!

Hi 'weekend twin' I'm the day after you! We registered just before the holidays, because we thought we might get a few presents off our registry (at that point, we only registered at BB&B) and we actually did get a couple! We also just registered at Crate & Barrel a couple weeks ago too. I think it's fine that you haven't registered yet, but sometimes people want to buy you a little something now, so it can't hurt!

We're sending STDs the first week in April and my mom is flipping out that we haven't registered yet. We're gathering addresses and the only questions she's getting are when is the wedding and where are we registered. So I guess we're doing it soon. FH is gonna kill me

oh boy, I have about 6 months & I did not register yet. I'm thinking mid- May b/c we have so much going on right now.

I haven't either!! I want to but FH is afraid if we register 'too soon' stuff we like will sell out/be discontinued...I guess he has a point...I still wanna register soon though! I am thinking May-ish

I registered a few months (about 5 or 6 months)after I got engaged....lol I COULDN'T WAIT!!!! lolol
Plus I had an Eparty and a lot of people asked me so I did...

We got engaged in March of '05 and we registered that month b/c our engagement party was in April. But I seriously have not looked at the registry in forever! I can't even remember the passwords!! I want to go back next month and start all over. So I am technically registered, but not really. I'll prob go in April.

Our wedding is the end of November and we havent registered as of yet. We probably will do it in May? 6 months before the wedding....that sounds okay?

I am getting married in October I registered for a bunch of big things at Fortunoff's but I have a ton more to do!!! I did liek nothing, it's sooo time consuming!!
