I havent heard any good things about them. I want to go there cause it is right by FH but people in the neighborhood told me not to

Okay, can anyone recommend me places nearby there. i have no idea what is out there. i'm in suffolk but need stuff done there!

I have an appointment with them to get my hair and makeup done at that salon before my B-pics..so I will let you know how it goes!


ETA: they are located in Bay Terrace, a few min north of Bayside..

Barb knows a couple places! Her place does a really nice job on her hair...

Its not exactly near bayside....but Friends Salon in Astoria is really good.

I use Christie and Co and have no problem there. They did my hair and makeup trial (see album pics). They also did it for my e-pics and are doing it for my bridal shower next weeked. I'll post pics of the e-shoot and bridal shower once I have them so you can see how it comes out again.

i have been there before for hair and make-up and they were great. one of my bridesmaids is getting her hair done their and my sis uses them when she has weddings. they are good, if my cousin didn't do my hair that is where i would have gone...

If you are looking for a place in queens my cousin(she used to to my highlights and cuts, but now i don't live close enough) works at pizzaz in little neck, great place! her name is marianne

I always get my hair cut there (i dont do color) and Ive had my make-up done there - I like them.

I'm not a fan...My sister booked a girl from there for her makeup (for her wedding) after doing a trial with her. On the day of, the girl she booked wasn't there and someone had to do her makeup...They weren't very nice about it either.

Is this for b-pics? This the place i was referring to in one of my 10000000 emails.

my MOH goes there all the time, and she wont go just anywhere.

I've been a bunch of times and I have had no issues. Although they are kind of rude, but honestly, they do a great job.
