Has anyone used Tommys Tunes?

What did you think of them? I am considering them for my wedding. I saw them perform at a bridal show at Eastwind, but I would love other bride's opinions. Thanks!!

Tons of people use them, they are great. I went with another dj for budget reasons, but I've been to weddings where TT were and they were really good.

Oh, is Tommy's expensive? We're paying for the wedding ourselves and I was hoping they weren't too much.

My sister used them this July. We had Joe and he was great. If you like Frank Sinatra, ask to hear Gene. He is a solo singer that performs while everyone eats.

My sister used them 3/26/04, I used the 9/24/04 and my friend Jen used them 10/8/04. All three times the dancefloor was packed all night long

Well worth the money IMO!

I used them too...they were awesome!!!! And, we had Gene perform during cocktail hour...our guests LOVED it!!!

My sister used them last year... It was the first vendor I booked for my wedding... Frank is the DJ we are using... He is great... Everyone was dancing. We also hired Gene to sing during the eating portion of the night!!

We saw them at two weddings and we knew we would book them. We didnt go to anyone else.

eta- yes they are a little more expensive then the other DJ's from what I have seen...we actually cut back on limo's to have them...it depends on what part of the wedding is more important sometimes. If your concerned about money, shop around and compare and tell the DJ's about the price differences, maybe they can find a way to fit your budget.

I went to a wedding last year and I am sorry to say, but I did not care for them. I thought they did a lot of immature things, and were not too much on schedule - especially with the ceromony- they were late getting started and were not set up on time and it delayed the ceromony. This is just my opinion. Please do not bite my head off.

I used the 9/24/04

My sister used them 9/25/04!

Joe was the MC, and I believe Vinny was the DJ. She also had the frank sinatra singer for cocktail hour. They were awesome! I had a wonderful time!

My sister did tell me they were a bit pricey though.

Their price might be average, but since we are on a budget we went with Absolute Entertainment who was highly recommended by a friend and MUCH more affordable for us.

Hi!
I saw Tommy's Tunes recently and they were pretty good. I was thinking of using them for my wedding in 2006, but them I saw this great live band, STAGES, at my fiance's friends wedding and I changed my mind because they were so great! I wasn't sure if I could afford them, but I was surprised to find out that they weren't that much more than the a DJ. I am going to see them at a showcase in Nov.
