Have to Share This!!! So Sweet!

So I was looking into having a shuttle bus carry guests from hotel to the reception hall and back and was looking into the cost. The lowest I had been quoted was 650 for the night and I was near tears!!!! I want out of town guests to be able to drink at their leisure and not have to worry about directions and stuff on the big day!
Well my FI's friends own a limosine company but I didn't feel comfortable asking for help. They heard about our plea and called and said that, in addition, to their gift to us, they would like to arrange for a shuttle bus for us for the entire night and the only thing we have to pay for is what he pays to his driver for the night. Total cost will be like $100. I almost started crying how generous some people can be!!! Yippee!!!

That's great! I also feel funny asking people for help, but with all this wedding planning and the accompanying expenses, it's awesome when someone comes and helps you out!

That is great. When planning a wedding, anywhere that you can cut costs really helps. I am really happy for you.

that is so nice of them. i completely understand your hestitation to ask friends of FH, family, etc. for discounts or freebies. i hired my brother's friend, who owns a DJ company, to provide the entertainment for the wedding. i made a point of not asking for any favors - just wanted to hire someone i knew. well, he provided a discount of over 30%! people are just so nice sometimes!
