mine is pretty awful, i went to a wedding and someone died in the middle of the reception!!! someone young too, an alergic reaction to food..it was horribly sad and needless to say the day was ruined. i dont think it gets much worse then that!! But has any1 else been to one where pple fainted, or decided in the middle of the ceremony that they couldnt go threw with it??
I havent but my photographer told me that once he was setting up for the reception at a wedding and the DJ was also setting up and he died right before the party was about to start. Isn't that horrible?
I haven't personally but when my aunt and uncle lived in Ireland they went to a wedding where something awful/crazy happened. Weddings are a little different over there (different invite lists for ceremony, dinner and then 'reception' - drinking and dancing part). After they finished dinner and everyone was there for the 'reception', the groom stood up and gave his speech. 'I want to thank everyone for coming today. It made the day very special. But most of all I want to thank my best man and my wife for sleeping together last night. I am leaving now and will be getting an annulment tomorrow. I hope you all enjoy the rest of the evening.' And he walked out!!! As bad as it must have been, it definitely makes for a really funny story! And good for him that he waited until every person in the world that knew this awful woman was there so he could embarrass the hell out of her!

My FSIL went to a wedding recently where during the cocktail hour a pipe burst in the hall and it started to flood and there were fire trucks all over the place. It was January and everyone was forced to go outside in the freezing cold. Then right before they walked in to be introduced the brides grandmother fell while walking down the stairs and had to go to the emergency room to get stitches in her head.
I was a junior bridesmaid at my godmother's wedding, and when they tossed the bo-k a woman who looked 9 months pregnant leaped through the air to catch it and literally landed flat out on her stomach. The paramedics were called and they took her out on a stretcher. I don't know the end result because I was only about 11 years old at the time and no one would tell me anything.
I went to a backyard wedding down south and where the groom knocked out his own dad and the dad was unconscious for a few minutes (we all thought he was dead). I ran into the house to call 911 and got yelled at by the homeowner for walking across her white carpets without taking off my shoes. Crazy *** people! The bride was hysterical crying, the cops basically ended the wedding!

I went to one where when the bride was dancing the dance w/her father, she did a big dip backwards and she popped out of her strapless dress!!!
I was so embarassed for her. It was caught in pictures and in their video! Good thing she was a total sport and didn't even care!
I went to this one wedding where the bride just had the worst of luck. She was having the ceremony at the hall, but the priest showed up 4 hours late. The caterers got their late too so everyone got drunk because the only thing that was available was the open bar. When she went to go use the bathroom, the zipper on her dress broke.
Well i have an insane story, but it happened the morning of the wedding..the bride was getting hair and make up done with bridesmaids and got a call that the grooms father who was perfectly healthy slipped into a coma..so the entire morning was waiting to find out what they were going to do, they decided to cancel it and postpone it, they father unfortunetly died and the couple broke up a few months later about 2 months before the wedding was to take place again..which was a good thing because they were so wrong for eachother, she was not a nice person and he is a doll!
We went to a wedding a couple years ago where there was a little drama. The ceremony and reception were held at the hall - after the cocktail hour we all walked in to the reception room but apparently the groom's father got into a shouting match with his oldest daughter's husband - the groom's BIL. The BIL was wearing a baseball hat at the groom's father - who didn't much care for the son-in-law started throwing punches! Fortunately most of the guest were in the reception room but we all knew what was going on in a matter of minutes. Sister, BIL and their children (who were part of the wedding party) all got up an left. The bride and groom handled it well though.
