Have children? FH told me he honestly wants to try on our honeymoon! I thought he was just saying that, but he really wants a family like now!

We had the covo...Since I will be 32 and he will 30 ....we will try about a year after....They said I may have problems...

We haven't lived together before, so probably after a year or two so we can enjoy being married first.

we were actually talking about that this weekend. i said 2-3 years, he said 3-5 years. we want to make sure when we buy a home, it's fully finished before we have kids, and also just enjoy some time in our new home before we have kids. that being said. i turn 32 this year, and he'll be 38 in march, so i have a feeling it'll be more in the 3 year range, i want to be done having kids before i'm 40.

he even planned out HOw I have to tell him!! its so adorable! I told him well seee
im also scared to death to carry his kid....hes 300lbs 6'7, and im all 5'2' and all babies on FH side wee BIG 10lbs+, and besides me and my sibs, my moms mom carried all big tooo 9lbs+ so im going to be HUGE prob!
Then.....
im one of those who believes twins skip a generation...... My grandma had 3 sets IN A ROW!!!!!!! Moms the only non twin in her family
im in for an eventful pregnancy

Thought about this a lot lately, FH definately wants to but I think we need some time to build our nest financially until we are ready.
I agree! FH and I are planning to start trying about a year and a half after we get married. But if it happens sooner not a big deal!

We've talked about it. Right now we're thinking we want to wait 4 years or so so we can travel and spend time together just us before we start a family.

I think if it was up to FH we'd start trying now! I've never seen someone want kids so much. But we agreed that we'd wait about a year or so before trying...it might be hard for me to conceive so we might need lots of time! So we shall see what happens. I know we cant wait until we are in a house b/c that might not be for another 4-5 yrs..def not waiting that long lol

ahhhhhhh yes, like 3 years prob! im too selfish right now (hey at least I can be honest about it)
same here! totally too selfish right now - maybe after 25 i'll start thinking about it - but i probably still wont be ready.....neither is FH which is good - sometimes we get baby fever when we are with our nephew but that passes real quick! we want to get a house, do some traveling, and save up before we think about starting a family

we both wanted to wait a little while after being married so that by the time we have a baby we are in our own house.
i think we'll wait about 2-3 years, i want to have a baby by 30.

well fh joked the other night that the hotel were staying at for the HM is where we'll conceive our HM baby but NO lol.
Then he started thinking and said after our 1 year anniversary. So i would say between 1-2 years maybe
but were going to just pick a time frame that we dont mind AFTER that time to have a kid but not going to expect to be pregnant by a certain time. We'll start probably trying a little after 1 year anniversary and whatever happens happens, these things can take a while so im prepared for that

i was thinking after i was teaching for one year... FH just has babies on the brain!!! He wants me to buy a onesie from hottopic that has one of his fav horror movies on it and to give it to him. without saying anything!
He already has the names ...hes 27 and set to have kids by 30.
Hell see kids and say...wait until we have little maddox, or jocelyn, or alex, or madison...he loves babysitting my niece (2 and half) and nephew 8mons...

well, we have talked about it. definitely not before i finish school in 2010 (hopefully) and hopefully we'll be on our way to buying a house by then.
we both only wanted one, but I don't want an only child, so he said I'd better have twins then But he's an only child, and soooo spoiled, and i'm one of four and can't imagine my kid growing up alone. so that's a battle we'll have to fight out in a few years!
