Have you been to a Verdi's wedding?

Just wondering if you have been to a wedding at Verdis in Westbury? I booked there before looking and when I visited it last week it looked kinda 'ehhhhhhhh'. My room is way smaller than I thought it would be so I'm kinda disappointed with that.

But anywho...if you went to a wedding here, what did you think of it? I'm worried!

I'm also a v.e.r.di's bride... and serenityetheral (theresa) was the MOH for a wedding there a few months back.
She said the only complaint was that the chicken marsala was a little over cooked... she said EVERYTHING else was great. I'll try and get her to come on here and give some more info, but she's been kinda busy, her wedding is sunday... but I'll ask and get info asap. I think Kim (the bride that got married at v e r d i's) will be at the wedding also so i'll ask her sunday.

which room are you in?

I haven't been to a wedding there, but I was just at a shower for my BFF there 2 weekends ago (don't remember the name of the room, it was when you walk in, right after the coat closet on the left.......

the food and service was good - no complaints! Valet was really really quick too!

damnn i'm assuming they didn't have a CH? thats my biggest worry with the place, is that the CH room is sooo small!

this was the small room.........

there are 3 rooms........when you walk in immediately on the left.....then you walk towards the staircase going down and the small room (which the shower was in) on the left.....and then straight ahead from the main entrance you just walk straight.......

The one I was in seemed like a room for a smaller party......I could be wrong though but thats my guess

I think thats my room! Its called the crystal room. I was so sad when I saw how small it was! The guy there swears it can hold 100 comfortably, but I am having my doubts! I tried to upgrade to a larger room, but there are 2 other weddings going on at the same time. I am sooo nervous about that too. ahhhhh!

They're having me have the CH room in the same room as my reception. They're too booked. blah! Also, they had to bump my start time up because all the other weddings (2 of them) started at 7. I'm getting married there, so I had to move my party up so I can get married in a room and then get rushed out of there so they can prepare it for the 7:00 wedding. Its gonna be hectic! Originally, they told me they had a 'chapel'...well, it turns out 'chapel' is just any other available room, which in my case, there isn't! ahhhhhhhhh! I could cry!
