Have you ever...

Have you ever...

not liked one of your vendor's work for you....but didnt say anything because

1- You didnt want to hurt their feelings

2- You knew other girls on the site were using them.

I'm torn....I hate being negative and saying negative things about vendors, especially my own. I know they work hard. But I'm not 100% satisfied with something and I dont know what to do. I don't want to post who it is because I know alot of girls are using this person and I don't want this person to find out.

Yes I didnt say anything because i felt it was so close to my wedding and it couldnt be changed. My advice would be SAY something..be polite but say something! You will regret it!

Say something. It's your wedding, you're only going to do this once... Depending on the vendor I am sure there are different ways to handle it and of course we're all here if you need some advice.

Yes...we had a problem with the quality of work from our original photographers...we tried to resolve the problem but in the end we weren't satisfied and parted ways with them. Some girls on here were using them and I had no problem stating my experience...since really, its only my experience and someone could have a completely different one.

I guess what I'm saying is I think that you should say something to the vendor and not be afraid to relate your experiences here. When I see a negative review of a vendor I'm using, I feel grateful because then I know what problems I need to look for with them and I can be proactive in trying to avoid them.

You have to put the big girl shoes on and speak up., How long and hard have you worked to put this party together- To have it compromised because you didnt want to hurt someone who's not a near and dear friend or relatives feelings ?
Colleen put them on blast- or get FH or MOH to muscle up the vendor. Hope it all ends up coming together

Here's the thing- vendor is super sweet, awesome customer service. I recieved the work I had paid for...it wasn't the quality I was expecting. I wasn't happy with the work. Thats a big part why I'm so conflicted.

Yes this is happening to me and I know another girl on here using the same vendor. We both dont want to say anything because a lot of girls on this site are using her and we know she reads the boards.

I know what you mean and I understand why you dont want to say anything. But I think you should definitely write an email saying what you would like changed, instead of saying you are dissatisfied. Put it in a nice way and I am sure it will work out!

I think you should definitely say something! It;s not like you got your service for free! You paid for this, you planned it and you deserve the best! SAYYY SOMETHING or you won't be happy!

Re: Have you ever...

you should say something definitely... as long as you do it respectfully. most professional vendors will not take it personally and will try to make the situation better. youre paying for all this stuff you should be happy with what you pay for
