we're thinking about honeymooning in hawaii instead of europe bc we can't bank on the medterranean being at all affordable with everything that's happening with the dollar. it killed us this summer. we haven't wanted hawaii bc the flight is so long. we plan to go away for 2 weeks, so i think we'll spend the weekend in san fran one way.
anyone have other suggestions--destinations to help break up the flight from hawaii. we're on LA and vegas because we're more hiking foodies who snorkel and lay on the beach than glitzy, glam, casino, club, hollywood type of people. TIA!

we're going to hawaii and i think on the way home we stop in salt lake city. i've never been there in the summer, but i know there are lots of hiking and outdoorsy things to do.

I think outside of vegas there is red rock canyon...you stay in vegas do the massages and stuff and then go hiking in red rock...

are you doing a cruise in hawaii? we're thinking of doing a short cruise and then staying on the big island for a few days. if we go, we'll def stay w/ some friends in san fran, but i'd like to do something different the other way. not sure about anything yet...

I have a layover for my flightin dallas, so maybe you would want to check Texas out LOL, or colorado or something
