Hawaii Honeymoon
I've been to hawaii twice and got great deals. In April my FH and I went for 9 days for under $2000 (hotel, air) from www.deltavacations.com !!! It was really great. We decided not to get the most expensive hotel b/c we wanted to also go to Maui for a day (we stayed mainly in Waikiki) If you want to stay in waikiki (honolulu, oahu) I would recommend the royal hawaiian (old hotel in a lot of movies, its pink), the outrigger on the beach or the shereton. They are all on the beach, but keep in mind the area is crowded. They were about 2500-3000 for the 9 days. You can look at that site and check the maui hotels. One town we went to (something with an L) was very nice, but somewhat touristy. One thing about hawaii is in the touristy areas they love you. Outside of them they hate you.

We are thinking of going to Hawaii as well. Does anyone know if any package deals that would include Hawaii, Las Vegas, and California?

Hawaii Honeymoon
I have been looking into an hawaiin honeymoon as well (it's about the third time we have changed our mind). I was wondering if anyone knows of an all inclusive reosrt at hawaii? Like I said I just started looking and will pass along info for anyone interested. As for the California/Hawaii/Vegas package, I didn't look at hotels, but airfare for visiting multiple cities like that ran about $2300 for two people. I priced that out for 9/01, economy class through travelocity.

Hawaii Honeymoon
We are spending 4 nights in Maui at the Four Seasons and then taking a 7 day cruise of Oahu, Maui, Kahaui and the Big Island. The cruise line is the United States Lines.. if you like cruising its a great, reasonable way to see a lot of Hawaii.

I am looking into Hawaii as well. We are probably going to go to Maui and stay at the Four Seasons and Kawaii and stay at the Princeville or the Hyatt.

We are staying at the Hyatt on both Kauai and Maui. Our trip is a bit more expensive because we are flying first class.

Do you mind telling me how much you paid for the first class tickets? I can`t picture myself in coach for that long of a flight! But, I`ve heard that first class tix are MUCH more expensive. Thanks!

Thank you all very much for your responses and recommendations. Someone asked which island we were looking into. The answer is Maui because we heard that the beaches and sunsets there were great, but we are not closed on that choice. Also, for the person who said that they checked out airfares on the internet; we did that too but we went to a travel agent and found that it was cheaper to get a package deal (air and hotel) than to buy just the airline tickets. I don't understand why though. However, the tickets that I priced on the internet were more expensive than what you found. Thanks everybody - Lora

For 4 nights in Kauai and 5 nights in Maui at the Hyatts with breakfast, a car on both islands and coach tickets on United via LA would be around $5200. It cost around $7900 for the same with first class. I have it booked but will cancel if I can find it cheaper.

Hawaii Honeymoon
We stayed at the Halekulani on Oahu, the Grand Wailea on Maui and the Four Seasons on Hawaii (the big island). Our trip lasted 12 days all together. We flew first class and rented a convertible on Maui and Hawaii. The trip itself cost a bit over $9000. Keep in mind your activities and food are also expensive there. It was in no way an inexpensive honeymoon but believe me, it was worth every last dime!!!

Hawaii Honeymoon
far fetched, but is anyone in the market for a car? the reason i ask is because the nissan dealer in syosset is offering 2 airline tickets to hawaii w/ the purchase of a car. you need to shop around and get various quotes and make sure they are not adding it on to the original price of the vehicle (which they normally do) and also check on availability and black out periods. i have done some comparitive shopping and the prices are the same. so, if you are in the market for a nissan and planning a honeymoon to hawaii, go speak w/ the dealer. we plan on purchasing one in the next month, not for the tickets of course, we do need a new car. but hey, if they throw in the tickets and the dealer down the road is offering 10 free oil changes, it's a hard decision but, umm i think i'll chose the tickets thank you!!!

Aimee--Liberty
I used the Liberty Travel On Middle Country road in Seldan.I think that is the town..right past Centereach? Our agent was Nikki -- and she is so great --- we sat with her for hours going over options-- until we were satisfied! I am more excited about the honeymoon than the wedding !!Welcome New Vendors
