Re: Hawaii honeymooners....
we plan on doing stuff like that too. We are going to go to Maui and we want to go snorkling, surfing (or at least try to!) we want to do a luau, do the Road to Hana, go shopping (well I do), FH would love to get a round of golf in since we won't be getting many chances to go to Hawaii, and I would love for us to get a couple's massage on the beach or something. We're planning to also relax and just enjoy being husband and wife for the first time!!!!
We probably won't start booking things until a year from now, which will be about 3 months before the wedding. I would look into things like the luaus because good ones probably start taking reservations months and months in advance.

Kristin-we are doing the same thing, right now we are researching exactly what we want to do and probably next month we will sit down to make decisions! FH is afraid that if we just wait until we get there we will miss too much!!!!

Somone on this board mention that you should get a copy of that coupon book Entertainment Hawaii. It offers discounts on tours, restaurants, etc. Also, I suggest getting the book Maui Revealed (or Kauai, oahu, etc). IMO it is one of the best travel books, it is written by locals. I am going to Maui and we got all of our ideas from that book. Hope this is helpful.

Re: Hawaii honeymooners....
Try to book the Old Lahaina Luau before you go (it was amazing)...we went 4-5 years ago, and back then, it was the best around and a little difficult to get reservations.
Of course, do the drive to Hana!
AND DEFINATELY Go To Haleakala (the inactive volcano)!!!!
