Hawaii - Oahu

I know there are so many threads about Hawaii, but I am getting frazzled and need some opinions about Oahu.

We are thinking of doing 3 full days in Oahu, one day going to the Pearl Harbor and the other 2 days to be determined. We are going to do luau's in Maui.
What do you recommend doing in Oahu?

I thought about staying at the Hyatt but it got mixed reviews on Trip Advisor and is huge and a little run down.
What hotels do you recommend?
Any input about Outrigger Reef on the Beach?

Hawaii - Oahu

Def go to Haunouma Bay and Lanakai Beach!!! Also, hike Diamond Head, the view is amazing.

And, if you like Hibatchi - go to Tanaka of Toyko for dinner in Waikiki. Serious the best Hibatchi i've ever had!

We stayed at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club last time we went (which is more off the beat and path), very private and was a beautiful resort. This time we are staying at the Trump International in Waikiki. We'll only be there for 3 days so we wanted to stay in the city.
I hear the Halekulani in Waikiki is AMAZING!!! For the price, I was torn between getting a regular room there or an upgraded room at the Trump.
