Hawaii or St lucia

I've never been to St. Lucia, but I've been to Hawaii. We got an amazing deal......flight and 6 nights hotel on waikiki beach for $1500 (this was also 2 years ago). if you search hard enough, you can find a great package. i would go back to Hawaii in a minute.

Edited because I forgot that my cousin went to St. Lucia on her honeymoon in Oct - I can't remember where they stayed, but I know she said she wasn't all that thrilled with it.

We were torn between the two also...and chose Hawaii. Everything the girls wrote is true...it is def more between the flights, food, hotels and excursions...and jet lag...but it is so worth it. We also stayed at the Hyatt and they have an Island Hopper pckg where if you stay on at least two different islands there you get free breakfast for two every day. If you book a mountainview room vs an oceanview room, it's also less money...same exact room (our travel agent told us that tip!). Also in Hawaii you don't have to deal w/passports. I would work with a travel agent (they can get you deals you may not be able to get on your own) -give her a budget and they will work with you!!! We're staying at the Hyatt on both islands. You'll save so much money with the free breakfast, plus everyone says they offer so much that you don't really need to eat lunch cause you're stuffed til practically dinnertime. Let me know if you need more info.
