He FINALLY Said 'Those Three Words'

It's funny how these little ones will repeat certain things, and WONT repeat other things, even if they are just as simple to pronounce!

Well as I kiss John Anthony to pieces , in between each kiss, I say 'I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU'
and last night, out of the blue, he decided to repeat me... and goes 'AH YA YU'
Needless to say, MOMMY SMILED FROM EAR TO EAR and daddy stood there like this

Then he impressed us some more with his cute little blocks (which he calls 'bots'). He's been obsessed with stacking them, and has stacked as many as 6. and last night he was on a roll and added four more to that ! Theyre pretty small blocks (maybe 2' X 2') so they would seem harder to balance and coordinate... we were SOO proud of him! ..and he was pretty proud of himself. As he stacks each one, he looks up with a HUGE GRIN waiting for the 'ooh's and aah's' that are always right there waiting

It REALLY was amazing to hear, even if it was just 'babbling back' to him Now I am OBLIGATING myself to get on that journal.

He's gotten pretty good with kisses too
Depending on his mood, he will either lean into you and put his face near your cheek, or he will put his face on your knee, arm, whatever is closest to him and he may or may not do the 'mwa' sound... I LOVE IT

Way too cute! How adorable and heart melting. He soudns like he has great manual dexerity with the block stacking. Maybe a future surgeon??

I know what you mean about not saying something you specifically want to hear. Luke was like that with Mommy. He'll still say Daddy a million times a day and Mommy only a few

It is the best feeling. I am waiting for that day with Annalise. Last night she started 'puckering up' when she kissed us. It used to be a flat kiss. She was so proud of her new talent she kept taking turns between kissing mom and dad.
