He was going to propose to her when they got to Disney. I feel so bad for her! She doesn't know and the family isn't sure if they should let her know.
Oh and they let the other guy out on bail since technically he isn't dead yet, they are waiting for the organ recipients to be finalized. Unbelievable. This guy is walking around, and I have to tell my son tonight that his daddy is dead.

I am so sorry this is so sad This is a horrible story and the fact that this guy is walking around free is bs they really need to be harsher punishment for DWI maybe so many people wouldn't do it

I just wanted to say how sorry I am for you and your son. Did your ex husbands new GF have a relationship with your son? Just curious because it might be good idea for them to have some kind of closure or relationship as well. I'm a social worker specializing in children. You need to find some way to alow your son a goodbye, be it at the hospital or some other way... let me know if you need any names of good therapists...

i knew stephanie, we went to high school and worked together for a couple years
its a horrible situation

People who use their cars as weapons and get behind the wheel intoxicated with such little regard for their life and the lives of everyone on the road deserve to go to jail for a long long time. So upsetting. I will say a prayer for your son, you and your ex fiance's family.
