He was going to propose to her when they got to Disney. I feel so bad for her! She doesn't know and the family isn't sure if they should let her know.
Oh and they let the other guy out on bail since technically he isn't dead yet, they are waiting for the organ recipients to be finalized. Unbelievable. This guy is walking around, and I have to tell my son tonight that his daddy is dead.

I just wanted to add that I think the girl should know...For me it would be some comfort of just how much he loved me and had hoped to spend the rest of our lives together...I don't wish to be the one to tell her but I just feel that she should know, kwim?

Maybe they should tell her so that she can know what she really meant to him? Honestly, how much worse can it get? I would imagine she knew they were on that track if he had the ring...it might be nice for her to know...

OMG Linds - thats so horrible. I can't believe this happened. If you need anythign we are all here for you. i am so sorry this happened. I can't believe the damn guy is out on bail too.. thats BS.
Like someone said (I think anney...I forgot who it was) I think the GF should know that he had the ring. maybe she could keep it as something to remember him by.

I am so sorry for you and your family and your ex and his family. I agree that they should tell the gf, I would want to know in that situation.
