Headpiece Cost

How much is everyone spending? I odered mine & it cost $200. This is NOT including the veil. This is making me sick!!! I feel I could just as well get any headpiece for cheaper. But I tried on a bunch & this is the one I loved the most! What do I do?????????????

Re: Headpiece Cost

Do not feel guilty if you can afford it. Weddings cost money, there is no way around that...so if you are going to spend thousands on this thing anyway, what is another few hundred.

I spent $80 on my hair comb.

Re: Headpiece Cost

Mine was around the same price, maybe a little more. I want to love what I am wearing that day so I am just buying it, everything is costing so much, what is just one more thing. If you love it I say go for it!!!

Re: Headpiece Cost

I spent way too much on my veil and headpiece but I also went way way over budget on my dress. But I love how the whole thing looks and feel like a princess.

Re: Headpiece Cost

I took a chance on ebay and bid on one that looked like what I wanted. It was only $15 so I figured that if I didn't like it when I got it...no big deal. But I love it and it is exactly what I wanted...suble but sparkley! Check out ebay!

Re: Headpiece Cost

The tiaras I've been eyeing range from $500-$800. (Bridal Couture's selection was my favorite, followed by Bridal Reflections.) I won't be wearing a veil, so I figured I would splurge on the tiara. I can't seem to find any I like for under $500.

I also won't be wearing a necklace or bracelet, so this and earrings will be my jewelry accessories.

Re: Headpiece Cost

My tiara is about $280 w/out the cost of the veil. But my Maggie Sottero dress has blue sapphire Swarvoski (sp) crystals on the bodice and the tiara is made of the same jewels so it compliments the dress really nice.

My headpiece and veil cost just under $300 and I am kicking myself for spending so much. I like it, but it cost almost as much as my dress!

Re: Headpiece Cost

I bought my tiara off of Ebay as well, it only cost me $45! I also got my veil from Ebay, which only cost me $50 - it's a 4 tier satin edge, elbow length, great quality! I was considering a tiara from where I was getting my gown from, but me as a bargain shopper I knew I could find it elsewhere less expensive, and I did. Mission accomplished. If you're not in a rush, really consider looking around before spending that kind of money on a headpiece. I would rather take my savings and use it toward something else for the wedding. Just some advice. Good Luck!

Re: Headpiece Cost

My tiara and veil were $300. That was the cheapest I had seen for what I liked, and I just happened to fall in love with one of the cheaper tiaras.

My dress is a Diva made by Paloma Blanca

The crystals are light. But I love them!! I think they make the dress look elegant.
