I just came from a headpiece show at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place ( I bought my dress here). I didn't realize how expensive tiaras and veils can be. They say it is so expensive because of the fabric and quality. Can you girls tell me what fabric your veil is and what kind of crystals your tiara's have. I'm trying to see if they are just trying to make a big profit off of me.

Re: Headpiece show at BR
My mom is making my veil, but I got my tiara from www.princessbridetiaras.com - it's SO beautiful! From their museum collection. It was on clearance.
63/Lex but the reason for the sale was Bloomies is not going to sell Svarski anymore ... they may not have anything left!

Re: Headpiece show at BR
Thanks everyone. I just found out a girl I work with also works at the Macy's Bridal in Manhassett. She said she got her veil and headpiece from David's Bridal. She wore them all night and the tiara came out great in the pictures and no ripped veil.

Re: Headpiece show at BR
Can anyone please post the address for the TriCounty. Thanks.
BTW- FH wants to know what the 3 rd county is in tri count? I told him Queens county, even though only the courts call it a county.
I ordered my veil on line & it was $87 for a cathedral length with a fine embroidered edge. It is very similar to the one I tried on on the bridal shop, but that was over $200. I have to say, I think the material was differnt ont his ne, even though the bridal shop said veilign is veiling this seemed a little limper, but I am hopign that was jsut because it came out of the box & was all staticky. also, Iwasn't wearing the dress, so it didn't have anyting to flow over. I would have spent the $250 if I was going to wear it all night, but its cathedral, so I'm not, I just hope it doesn't rip.
