This is the ONE thing im nervous about..i seriuosly do NOT want to cry and look like a bubbling moaning idiot lol

so what did u do to NOT cry?

Although I should not be giving you advice about this since I was guilty of fighting a breakdown while walking down the aisle
I would say..keep you eyes on the prize. What made me most nervous was the people in the pews....I tried to focus on DH and in my mind, I was RUNNING towards him and couldn't get there fast enough! Lol. Focus on your hunny and you can't loose!!

I focused on my flowers on the aisle as I walked down. I thought they weren't actually mine, so they kept me distracted. Before I knew it, I was down the aisle.

i cried just before and you can see my eyes are watery. i held onto my dad for dear life and smiled my little heart out...

I didn;'t and I have no idea how.....I just had a clenched smile...I think what kept me going was the fact that I was worried that I was going to mess my MU up...I cried during the ceremony though

I did not cry at all on my wedding day! Something must be wrong with me!

I was so excited to be getting married that I just had this big, stupid smile on my face (Jeanine, you saw it in person!). Then I saw John and my smile got even bigger. I just kept thinking that my day has finally come to marry the man of my dreams. It was all smiles the whole day.

you will just go in 'a mode' and you can hold it

I did well I was all smiles I did almost lose it when repeating the vows from the priest if there was one more line I would of lost it!
DH said he heard it in my voice and my voice was mic'ed to the church

I was just SO happy that I didn't even think about crying. I SMILED my way down the aisle, I think I even walked too fast! Hehehe. The only time I ALMOST cried was when my husband called me his wife and then I had to say my vows. Hehehe. He held my hands and rubbed them while I said my vows and it calmed me down. He knows me so well...

Glad you posted this... I would say this is my biggest fear... the church thing....

Not to get into it too much or be too corny... but I had a VERY BAD accident in 2003 and not only almost died, I didn't walk for months and finally pulled out of it... I deal every day with what was left after the accident
.. anyway, on that day I made a promise to myself that I would live each day to the fullest and make sure that I lived as happy of a life as God saw it....
which brings me to the wedding day... I met my fiance before we dated.. thought he was great.. blah blah.. but when we finally started dating, I was so blown away that I had the opportunity for such happiness... I had gone through so much it was truly a gift from God... so on the wedding day and I am still thanking God each day.. I will think of all that , as I have been for the past couple of weeks, and I can't help but cry, tears of happiness of course!!!!
I would rather not ruin my make up or the pics... so, thanks for the advice.. I love the nose picker.. I will have to ask my friends !!!!
We are all so lucky to have good people and good men in our lives..... with everything that has happened world wide lately, today everyone should say a little thank you for what we have!!!!!!!!!!
