TRUST ME ... 'congratulating Boston' is something I NEVER thought I'd have to do in my lifetime. This is KILLING me. I cannot even watch TV and see them celebrating.

I cannot believe they pulled it off. But once they came back from 3-0 to beat the Yankees, I knew it was their year -- finally

Hopefully it'll be another 86 years until they do it again, and my grandkids will be chanting '2004' one day

I'm actually thinking the curse needs to be doubled... 2176 anyone?

I'm actually kinda happy for the real fans, just not so much for the one's who are suddenly huge red sux fans just cuz they beat the yankees... makes me sick.

I agree -- I cannot begrude the diehard Sox fans who have waited their entire lifetimes for this moment. I can never be altogether happy, but I do respect their loyalty to their team during these loong hard years

this is actually better because the met fans take the yankee-met thing more seriously than the yankees do, george cares about the sox first, the mets second.

Glad to see George is eating crow this morning. While he was busy signing A-Fraud, he let Pedro and Schilling will get together.

But the tide will turn next year, Pedro will be a Yankee. Yankee fans who wished him dead will rejoice. He'll bean Ortiz at the Satdium and the Yankee Lemmings will cheer like he was Mantle.

That's the name of the game
