Hello!!!

Hi Ladies!

I'm new to the site (played around a little yesterday) so just wanted to say hi:) I just got engaged on 8/19 and wedding date is 11/19/05. I'm SO excited and it's so fun seeing all your posts. I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of questions when things start to get hectic. Right now we just have to register and plan an engagement party (any reccommendations??) Good luck everyone and I'll be in touch!!

PS - Let me know if you've heard anything about Areca in Plainview.

Welcome Lauren....LIW is VERY addicting so be aware Congratulations on your engagement I didn't register for my engagement party and ended up getting money instead. Just a thought.

One of the hairdressers I go to, is getting married at Areca on 10/1/05...She absolutely feel in love with the place...I have seen pictures & it looks nice, but I never was there....

Is it true that if you don't register prior to engagement party you just get gifts in money instead??? i would love that.....but would people feel wierd handing over envelopes? hmmmm....so hard being a social worker trying to manage everyone's feeligns!
