Re: Hello Kitty Wedding Cake!
Do you want an actual HK cake or just a cake topper? A cake topper would be easier to find.I love all things Hello Kitty. My entire apartment has HK stuff all over it.

Re: Hello Kitty Wedding Cake!
glad to see i'm not the only HK fan!!!i think it's a cute idea! but would your FH be ok with the HK thing? i know mine wasnt.
do you have a favourite bakery? maybe you could get in-touch with them and make your idea a reality. you could also try and get intouch with those cake boss/ace of cakes/etc that has their own show - i know some of them are here in NY (but they might be expensive).
we're using our RH's cake but i'm toying with the idea of custom-making a groom's cake by my fave baker - Lulu's which is in Queens.

Re: Hello Kitty Wedding Cake!
Well I checked with FH and he just said 'yes dear!'..LOL..So he is ok with it. He doesn't really care - he's not much of a cake eating guy..I looked at cake toppers but wasn't enthused with the ones sold online.
I had a HK Birthday cake made at Taipan Bakery in Flushing, Queens. They make really wonderful and delicious cakes, I am just a little nervous about entrusting an entire wedding cake to them, esp since it will require delivery to the RH...
I have a specific design in mind (white fondant with crystal outlines of HK on the sides) and a few outside borders..nothing crazy...and of course HK and the groom on top...

RE:Hello Kitty Wedding Cake!
If you’re going for a full Hello Kitty theme, a custom cake designer could definitely bring that to life, but it might be easier to focus on the details that make the cake feel personal. A beautifully made topper can really stand out without overwhelming the cake itself. I’ve seen some really sweet hand-painted porcelain toppers and figurines that double as keepsakes long after the wedding. If you want something heirloom-quality and nature-inspired with a touch of artistry, you can explore some unique options that might fit the aesthetic. Pairing a special topper with a simple but elegant cake could be the perfect balance.Welcome New Vendors
